![]() The Mac version needs to be installed (drag into application folder after opening the DMG) and then run with the CTRL-Click Open command (to ignore unknown source warning, as I do not sign the installers with a certificate). To install, just grab the latest installer executable or DMG file from the following page and run it. I provide installer builds for Windows and disk images for macOS, they are hosted here in github. I made a video to show you the software and the most basic functionality, checkout the YouTube channel for more examples and advanced features as well Especially the version 2.0.0 introduced the most sought after feature - bank management! : The video shows version 1.0.0, a lot has happened since then. ![]() So basically everyone who can read the MIDI spec and can do a little scripting could create new adaptations for more devices! How does it look? No custom UI currently is possible or planned as of now. The adaptations are python scripts for a generic module that let's you hook up other MIDI gear yourself, much in the spirit of the good old SoundDiver adaptations - at least, scripting the MIDI. The ones "in progress" are already nearly done and not part of the regular build yet, drop me a note if you want to accelerate. Thanks to get back to me if you encounter any issues, or also if you successfully test those marked as alpha or beta. Questions and help with implementing new synths wanted! Or if you have found a bug, also feel free to report directly here on Github. If you are looking for a modern, free Sysex Librarian for your synth, you have found the right place! This is the place where the KnobKraft Orm is created, a modern cross-platform Sysex Librarian for your MIDI gear. The PreSonus and Behringer units work when using sysex librarian with my other synths.A free MIDI Sysex Librarian - The KnobKraft Orm I also tried using several different midi interfaces: a PreSonus AudioBox iTwo, a Behringer UMC404HD, and a Hosa USB to MIDI converter cable. I have tried changing the transmission speeds and buffer sizes, but that doesn't make any difference. But nothing changes on the Microkorg - nothing is being loaded into it. I have followed the midi receive instructions in the microkorg manual I hit play on sysex librarian, and at least on the application, it doesn't give any indication that anything isn't working. I.e., I can dump my patches from the Microkorg into a sysex file.īut, once again, the problem arises when I try to load a sysex file TO the Microkorg. Sysex librarian lets me save sysex files from the Microkorg. I use Sysex librarian on the Mac, and again, I have had success using that on a DX7 and a D-50. So, I figured I would try to send and receive some sysex data to see if it was a problem with Patchbase, or with the Microkorg, or maybe with my midi interfaces. ![]() Followed all of the steps, including turning off the write protect on the Microkorg and also enabled the Sysex receive filter on the Microkorg. ![]() But I could not get it to load any data to the Microkorg. I have used Patchbase for other synths and it has worked great. I discovered my problems when I purchased the Microkorg editor for the patch base ipad app. Does anybody have any experience loading sysex data into a Microkorg? I am having a ton of problems getting the Microkorg to receive anything. ![]()
